From gameplay to historical previews
The video brings together configurable movement keys, menu and HUD adjustments, Tristram's proportions and colors, an Ogden animation preview and Cathedral tests. The edit combines gameplay captured by Douglas with earlier replays, offscreen tests and illustrations, identified in the video.
The narration records preparation before Ogden and the Cathedral pilot were integrated. That historical context has been preserved. In the documented October 9 update, the technical Cathedral pilot is already installed across nine nearby regions on the standard first floor. Shapes, doors, artwork, camera behavior and gameplay performance remain under review; the other floors and quest levels retain the native presentation.
Tristram is the first stage. The goal is to rebuild all of Diablo 1 in 3D, including every level. This update does not announce a finished game release.
