CONTRIBUTE
Build Diablo 3D
with us.
The goal includes every level of Diablo 1. Current contributions help review Tristram and the technical pilot on the Cathedral’s standard first floor: art, code, testing and documentation.

- 01
Choose an object
Browse the catalog and identify a reusable family of houses, trees, rocks, props or characters.
- 02
Reserve the ID
Open an issue to coordinate the work. Wait for maintainer confirmation before modeling; opening an issue does not confirm the reservation.
- 03
Model and compare
Preserve the composition in the original camera view. Complete the sides and check rotations, scale and ground contact.
- 04
Submit for review
Include screenshots, asset provenance, the license and permitted files. A candidate is reviewed before acceptance.
Art and modeling
Start with a family of complete objects rather than a tile fragment. Compare silhouette, scale, doors, windows, orientation and terrain placement.
The v4 audit catalog records 12 complete architectural objects in nine families, 93 trees in six families and 501 rock groups in six patterns. These counts describe the current reconstruction; they are not approved contributor models.
The record published on October 7 still has zero accepted manually authored models.
Code, testing and documentation
Help with rendering, importing, comparisons and guide reviews. A useful report includes the version, framing, steps to reproduce the problem and a contextual screenshot.
There is room to test selection, occlusion, walking and renderer integration without changing gameplay logic.

Do not submit extracted MPQ, CEL/CL2/MIN/TIL/SOL files, isolated game textures or models derived from those files to the website.
