Diablo3D is Douglas Pan’s project to recreate all of Diablo 1 in 3D, built on DevilutionX. It uses AI in code, copy, artwork and new music recordings. It is a very early, unstable prototype.

Douglas sets the goal, chooses references, requests corrections and tests builds. He uses AI to write code and copy, generate visual studies and produce assets. New Diablo3D work is not presented as handmade.
How we use AIExplore Tristram and the dungeons from within in first person, or follow the hero in third person. DevilutionX simulation keeps the game rules; F4 lets you compare the scene with the original view in the same session.

COMMUNITY · FREE PROJECT
Human review, models and bug reports help improve the prototype. Sharing also helps. Financial support is voluntary.
PANVIA · RECOMMENDED PATH
The public package and Panvia integration still need validation. For now, GitHub provides source and build instructions. A future installation must preserve saves, settings and rollback.

ONE GAME SESSION, TWO VIEWS
F4 switches between the original view and the prototype within the same game session. Movement, collisions, inventory and interaction still use the DevilutionX simulation.
Home restores third person within the session. F4 still switches native and 3D presentation; geometry fidelity requires comparisons with the mesh enabled.
